The Kettering Jazz Program is comprised of ensembles at both the middle and high school levels. The middle school jazz ensemble meets beginning in January and combines students from Van Buren and Kettering Middle Schools. Fairmont High School offers two jazz ensembles and a jazz combo. Jazz Ensemble I has performed most recently at the Essentially Ellington Jazz Festival in Cincinnati, Ohio, as well as throughout the Dayton community at local events and venues.
The jazz ensembles are under the direction of Bryce Newton with assistance from Brandon Schick.
