Bryon Dobbs
Serving Kettering City Schools since 1999, Bryon is the Choral Accompanist for Fairmont High School, Kettering Middle School and Van Buren Middle School. He is also the Director of the combined Middle School Pop A Cappella ensemble, Amp'd Out. Additionally, Bryon enjoys serving as Rehearsal Accompanist for the High School musical each Spring.
Holding both Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Music (The University of Akron/Wright State University), Bryon actively teaches and performs throughout the Miami Valley. An Adjunct Faculty member of the Music Department at Sinclair College, Bryon teaches Applied Piano as well as serves as Musical Director and Rehearsal Accompanist for Musical Theater Productions.
As a performer, Bryon is Pianist for Sulphur Grove United Methodist Church, Pianist for the Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra, Keyboardist/Rehearsal Accompanist for the Springfield Arts Council Summer Show and Director/Accompanist for the Dayton Jewish Chorale.
Bryon and his wife, Soprano Bonnie Dobbs have been concertizing since 2003, performing on the Carnival Cruise Ship Paradise, the Troy-Hayner Chamber Music Series, the Artist Series at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the Dayton Opera Guild and as Guest Artists for the Arthur Murray Dance Studio Productions Ain't Life Grand! and Shall We Dance?
