Adam Depew
Adam Depew is the Elementary Music Specialist at Southdale Elementary in Kettering, Ohio, where he leads a vibrant and innovative music program grounded in the Orff Schulwerk approach. He holds full Orff Schulwerk certification and a master’s degree with an emphasis in Orff Schulwerk. A past president of the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of AOSA, Adam is recognized as a leading voice in creative, child-centered music education regionally and has become an emerging voice at the state and national level.
He is an active clinician and presenter at several local universities, the Ohio Music Education Association Professional Development Conference, the American Orff Schulwerk Association National Professional Development Conference, and various Orff Schulwerk chapters across the country. Under his direction, the Southdale Orff Ensemble was selected as the featured children’s ensemble for the 2025 American Orff Schulwerk Association National Professional Development Conference in Lexington, Kentucky. The ensemble has earned local, state, and national recognition for its excellence and artistry in elementary music education.
