David Kestner
Mr. Kestner is excited to join the Kettering music department! For the past six years, he has worked as the 5-12 music teacher at Southeastern Local Schools. While there, he directed all bands and choirs, acted as Music Director for the spring drama productions, and briefly taught K-2 general music. He is local to the Dayton area, having graduated from Wright State University in 2020 with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education. Mr. Kestner enjoys playing saxophone and clarinet in a variety of ensembles, including jazz ensembles, local community bands, and pit orchestras. Outside of his many music-related activities, Mr. Kestner enjoys reading, bicycling, and spending time with his wife and two daughters.
