Her biggest vision for all music and band programs is inclusivity, and giving all students an opportunity to perform at their highest level. She has travelled to Washington D.C to speak with lawmakers as a part of the National Association for Music Education’s annual, “Hill Day Conference,” leading the largest delegation of Ohio College students to Capitol Hill. Her favorite memory of performing comes from 2016, where the Wright State University Trumpet Studio performed for actor Tom Hanks for the opening of Wright State’s Tom Hanks Center for Motion Pictures building.

In her free time, Kaitie enjoys trips to her local Target, Carillon Park, and rooting for the Cincinnati Bengals.
